Google Drive and Coavon
Keep your files in Google Drive and still have them where the work is. Attach any Drive file to a Flow task, a Scope record or a Chat message, and open it in one click.
Included on every plan, including Free
What it does
On a Flow task
Add a Drive file to a task's attachments, next to anything you upload.
On a Scope record
Add a Drive file to a client or other record, in its Files tab.
In a Chat message
Send a Drive file in a conversation. It shows with an Open in Google Drive button.
Stay connected
Connect once and pick files without signing in to Google each time.
Set it up
- Where you would attach a file in Flow, Scope or Chat, choose Google Drive.
- The first time, a small Google window asks you to allow Coavon. After that, Google's own file chooser opens straight away.
- Pick a file. It is attached as a link to the file in your Drive.
- To disconnect, open Workplace, then Settings, Integrations and Google Drive.
How it works, and what Coavon can see
- Coavon can see only the files you pick in Google's own file chooser, nothing else in your Drive.
- The file stays in Google Drive. Coavon keeps its name and link, so Google's sharing settings decide who can open it.
- Google's pass is kept encrypted on Coavon's server so you stay connected. Disconnecting does not remove files you have already attached.
