Google Calendar and Coavon
See your work where you already plan your day. Your dated Flow tasks and Coavon Calendar events appear in Google Calendar, in a calendar of their own, and changes you make there come back to Coavon.

What it does
Tasks in your calendar
Flow tasks with dates appear as events, from their start date to their due date. A finished task is marked with a tick, and leaves the calendar a while after its date.
Coavon events too
Events from Coavon Calendar go to the calendar of the person who made them and of every guest who has not declined.
Both ways
Move or rename a task's event in Google Calendar and the task follows, usually within a minute. You can switch this off and keep Google as a view only.
Your Google events in Coavon
If you choose to, your own Google events show beside your Coavon ones in Coavon Calendar. They are read when you look and not kept.
Up to five accounts
Connect a work and a personal Google account, say, and choose separately what goes to each.
What you can choose, for each account
- Show tasks, events from Coavon Calendar, or both
- All projects, or only the ones you pick
- Tasks in no project
- Which priorities to show
- Finished tasks
- Cover every day from the start date, or only the due date
- Put the project name first
- Show you as busy
- A reminder before each one
- Whether changes in Google update Coavon
Set it up
- In Workplace, open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Google Calendar.
- Choose Connect, sign in to Google and allow Coavon.
- Pick your options. Your tasks and events appear in a new calendar called Coavon Flow.
- To see your own Google events in Coavon, open Calendar and choose Show next to Google in the sidebar. Google asks once more, for permission to read your calendar.
How it works, and what Coavon can see
- Coavon adds one calendar to your Google account and can see only that calendar. Your other calendars and events stay private, unless you choose to show your Google events in Coavon Calendar, which asks Google separately for read-only access.
- Deleting an event in Google only takes it off the calendar. The task stays in Flow.
- Events you make yourself in the Coavon Flow calendar are left alone. Making an event there does not create a task.
- Only the organizer's changes to a Coavon event come back from Google, and changes to a repeating event do not come back.
- Google's pass is kept encrypted on Coavon's server. Disconnect an account in Workplace at any time.
